Craig Amick worked as an engineer for over 20 years in the Automotive and Consumer goods industry before an opportunity to take over The Louver Shop presented itself by chance. Craig and Fran Amick were happy customers of The Louver Shop and when the previous owner Dale Worsham decided to retire after 23 years in Charlotte & Atlanta GA, they could not pass up on the opportunity to take over this long standing business and build on that great tradition.
The Amick’s also founded Signature Closets to further serve our customers by designing and installing custom storage solutions. “We love working with customers to find the best closet and storage solutions for their personal needs, it’s a fun and iterative process including 3D life like renderings of their new space. After we find that perfect fit with design and budget, it’s time to make it come to life!”

Ray Messer is a dedicated father, husband and technical support leader with over 30 years in the corporate world. He has worked with both large and small enterprise customers across various proficiencies. As he developed his career, Ray evolved from a frontline support engineer to a director-level leader, overseeing support and services teams. His core mission has always been to foster success in those around him, whether they were direct reports, colleagues, or upper management. Above all, Ray prioritized his customers’ success and in that, he strived to exceed their expectations with the products and solutions they purchased. His unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction has consistently resulted in high ratings and reflects Ray’s customer-first philosophy.
In 2024, Ray embarked on a new chapter in his career by taking ownership of a home services business, expanding Signature Closets, based in Charlotte, NC, to the Atlanta, GA area. Ray’s vision for Signature Closets, Atlanta is steadfast in that customer satisfaction is priority.
